Preparation Beyond Industry Standards

Our roofing crew’s extensive training starts long before arriving at your home.  On a weekly basis our crews are trained, tested and inspected for proper on the job safety.  Each crew member is CPR certified on an annual basis. Every installer is tested, certified trained and retrained weekly on the specific materials we install on your home.

Proper Introduction

When our crew arrives at approximately 8AM, the lead installer will introduce himself and his crew to our customer.  He will hand them a business card with a firm hand shake and a smile. The Lead Installer will then go over the contract in detail and answer any questions and concerns.  He will do a walk through with the customer explaining the well choreographed plan of attack. He will go over their daily goals and projected daily arrival and departure schedule.

Protection of your Property is Our Number One Concern

When you are done with the walk-through the crews will begin to set up their site protection. This entails one installer setting up a ladder in the most convenient and safe location and securing it to the roof and the ground. The Lead Installer will then go on the roof to set up the safety anchors and ropes for each employee.  The rest of the crew will layout plastic and plywood to protect windows, doors, decks and greenery that may be endanger of being damaged during the reroof project.  The crew will then strategically place Caution signs, cones and tape around the project to protect and warn any pedestrian traffic of the dangerous surroundings.  We pride our selves on protecting your property, family and friends.

Proper Removal & Installation of Your Roof System

After all site protection is properly set up work will begin. They will start by removing the roofing using the proper equipment provided to them by C&R Boger Construction. Each employee will pay special attention to a safe removal and dispose of all debris into a dumpster provided on site by C&R Boger Construction.  The crew will remove and replace any and all dry rot or faulty boards. Our fully Certified Installers install only the highest of quality underlayment, flashing and materials on your home.  With most companies this is only in rare exceptions.  With C&R Boger this is standard practice on every project.  That is why we are able to provide our customers with the best warranties in the industry.

Once all materials have been properly installed, the clean-up will begin.   All safety and protection equipment will be removed.  Our trained professionals will remove all debris from the roof and grounds using blowers, brooms and water hoses.  The grounds and driveway will be thoroughly swept with a metal magnet to catch any nails left behind during the project.  It is our goal to leave the grounds better then we found them.

Proper Departure

On a daily basis our Lead Installer will check out with the homeowner.  He will go over the goals that were or were not met and why.  He we work with the customer to choreographer the remainder of the project and answer any additional questions or concerns.

Thoroughly Inspected

Our crews are continuously inspected for safety and quality workmanship.  The site is surprise inspected throughout the project for proper safety procedures.  The job is then inspected once it has been completed for quality control.  The workmanship must pass a 20 point inspection by our Roofing Operations Manager.  In some occasions the inspection will also be accompanied by a GAF Representative if certain warranties are required.

Taking Care of Business

The final step to the installation process is the paper work. The lead installer and/or Roofing Operations Manager will go over all warranties and finalize all financial completion documents.  After all paper work has been covered the lead installer and/or R.O.M. will collect final payment and address any final questions you may have. The very next responsibility is yours. We would like you to show off your beautiful new Roof and pass along our name proudly to friends and neighbors.
